Helping a Vulnerable Asylum Seeker

Client was made aware of The Guild through his support worker.

The client is a vulnerable single young man who was an asylum seeker and now is a refugee.

When the client came to us, he was sleeping on the floor with several blankets as a base.

Following his assessment Kate awarded him with a double bed with a mattress. He was so grateful because his lack of good quality sleep had massively impacted his mental health and back condition had got worse.

Client was still in need of a lot of help and struggled to communicate his full needs and situation due to his lack of English so following the appointment we referred the client to further organisations in Bolton that could help.
